What to expect
A clear, supportive process from first enquiry to feedback

Submit an enquiry
Use the contact form on the website to make an enquiry. You do not need a referral from a GP to access our services, but we do accept referrals.

We call you back
A member of the MindKey Psychology team will give you a call to ensure we are the best service for your needs.

Information, consent and deposit
We email a link to complete the information and consent form, and to pay the deposit. The deposit will secure your appointment time.

Confirm the clinical interview
Once we receive the signed consent form and deposit, a member of the team will contact you to confirm a time for the initial clinical interview with one of our clinicians. The confirmation email will include a link to complete a more detailed questionnaire to be completed before the clinical interview.

Initial clinical interview
The clinical interview is held via Zoom and runs for 45 minutes. In this appointment, we gather all of the information we need to inform testing. We might request that you email or bring copies of imaging, allied health reports, school reports, and any other information that may be useful in the assessment process. We may also ask that you complete additional questionnaires, which can be done online and typically take 10–15 minutes.

Reminder and preparation
You will receive a reminder email before testing that includes information on how to prepare for the assessment, what to bring, and what to expect on the day.

Day of testing
On the day of testing, arrive 10 minutes early to allow time to feel settled before the appointment begins.

Schedule your feedback
In most cases, the feedback appointment will be scheduled on the day of testing. We will discuss with you if more information is required before the feedback appointment can be booked.

Feedback appointment
During the 45-minute feedback appointment, we will provide an overview of the results, offer specific recommendations and strategies, and guide you on next steps. In most cases, the report is issued on the same day as the feedback appointment.
